Philips 399 Connectivity and Features

Connectivity and Features

In terms of connectivity, the Philips 399 supported basic GSM 2G bands, offering standard call and text functions alongside GPRS Class 10 for variable data transmission, although EDGE capability was missing. The phone featured Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP for wireless streaming, but lacked WLAN and positioning technologies, which are default in modern devices. Internet access was limited to WAP browsing, sufficient for light browsing tasks at a time when mobile internet use was still growing.
