Internally, the Philips 598 offers a modest 128MB of storage, manageable for basic tasks but considering the era and target audience, this was relatively sufficient for storing essential contacts and messages. It accommodates a phonebook with up to 1000 entries, enabling a large capacity for storing contacts with additional photocall features. The support for an external microSD card further supplements the device's storage, allowing users to expand memory as necessary.
