For communication, the Philips 755 supports GSM 900/1800/1900 bands and offers GPRS Class 10 for data transfer, without EDGE capability. Lacking modern connectivity options such as WLAN, Bluetooth, and GPS, it does provide an infrared port which was a typical method for wireless exchange of data at the time. The device supports basic messaging formats, including SMS, EMS, MMS, and Email, and comes pre-installed with a WAP 1.2.1 browser for simple internet browsing.
