Display and Interface
The display of the Philips Diga is purely functional. It features a simple alphanumeric screen that can show up to 12 characters with additional fixed icons for network and battery status. This limited visual capacity aligns with the minimalistic functionality of the phone, which was sufficient for basic calling and texting. The user interface was rudimentary, relying on physical buttons without any touch capabilities or graphical elements found in modern smartphones.
