Battery Performance
Equipped with a removable Ni-Cd (Nickel-Cadmium) battery, the Philips Fizz offers 45 hours of standby time and approximately 60 minutes of talk time. While these battery life specifications seem limited by modern standards, they were adequate for the technology and usage patterns of the 1996 market. The Ni-Cd battery technology, although largely obsolete today due to its "memory effect" and other limitations, was prevalent in devices at that time.
