The internal display of the S880 is a 1.7-inch CSTN screen, showcasing 65,000 colors with a 128 x 160 pixel resolution. This enabled a basic but colorful viewing experience suitable for the time. Accompanying this was a small external CSTN display with 4096 colors at a 96 x 64 pixel resolution, offering enough capability to display caller ID or message alerts without opening the phone.
