Under the hood, the Philips W8560 is powered by a Mediatek MT6589 chipset with a quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A7 processor, complemented by a PowerVR SGX544 GPU. Running on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean), the phone offers a reasonably smooth user experience for general tasks and some casual gaming due to its 2GB RAM. The internal storage of 32GB, expandable via a microSDHC card, provided sufficient space for most users’ needs. While the technology seems modest compared to modern devices, at the time, this setup met the demands of average smartphone users efficiently.
