Philips X516 Display

Display

Sporting a 2.6-inch TFT resistive touchscreen, the X516 offers a screen resolution of 240 x 320 pixels, equating to approximately 154 ppi density. Although the screen size and quality might seem outdated today, the resistive touchscreen technology was quite common at the time, providing basic touch functionality. However, the limited screen-to-body ratio of around 39.5% did not maximize the display space, restricting more immersive visual interactions. Notably, the phone supports handwriting recognition, adding an element of functionality for precise touch inputs, a feature not common in all phones of its era.
