Connectivity and Additional Features
Connectivity options are limited, significantly different from the comprehensive offerings of modern-day phones. The device supports GSM 900/1800 bands but excludes features like Bluetooth, USB connectivity, and internet browsing over high-speed networks. It includes basic messaging capabilities – SMS, EMS, and MMS – and the potential for a little entertainment with a few pre-loaded games and the option to download additional ones, thanks to Java MIDP 2.0 support. Additionally, the phone features predictive text input, which, although standard in contemporary phones, was useful for speeding up text creation at the time.
