Philips Xenium 9@9m Display

Display

At the front, the phone is equipped with a 2.5-inch TFT resistive touchscreen capable of displaying 256K colors. While the resolution of 176 x 220 pixels (~113 ppi density) might seem modest by today's standards, it was considered adequate for the era. The screen's size and resolution provided basic clarity for everyday tasks, although the ~37.5% screen-to-body ratio suggests fairly substantial bezels. An interesting feature was the handwriting recognition capability, which added a personal touch to user input.
