Connectivity and Network
Operating within the GSM 900 / 1800 bands, the Philips Xenium is strictly a 2G device. At its launch, it did not support GPRS or EDGE technologies, making it predominantly a voice and basic text communication device. This absence of internet connectivity features underlines its role as a purely functional mobile phone for making calls and sending SMS messages.
