Performance
Under the hood, the Plum Gator runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean but is upgradable to Android 4.4.2 KitKat. The phone's performance is powered by the Mediatek MT6572A chipset with a dual-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A7 CPU, coupled with a Mali-400 GPU. While these specifications were modest even at the time of release, they are sufficient for basic operations like browsing, messaging, and running lightweight apps. The phone includes 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via a microSDHC card. However, users may find the storage and RAM to be limiting for extensive multitasking or storing large files.
