Under the hood, the Plum Link Plus runs on an older Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system supported by the Rockchip RK3188 chipset with a quad-core 1.8 GHz CPU and Mali-400 GPU. Although the 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage might seem limited by today's standards, the device was sufficiently equipped at the time to handle basic applications and media playback without significant lag. The option to expand storage via a microSDXC card slot compensates for the low internal memory, allowing users to store more media and files as needed.
