Under the hood, the QMobile Noir X500 is powered by a Mediatek MT6582 chipset coupled with a quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A7 CPU and a Mali-400MP2 GPU. This combination, while modest by today's standards, allowed for smooth execution of basic tasks such as browsing the web, using social media apps, and casual gaming. With 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, the device provided just enough power for everyday applications, although the storage was limited for multimedia-heavy users. Fortunately, the phone does support microSDHC cards for expanded memory. Running on Android 4.4.2 KitKat, it offered a variety of features prevalent at the time, though it lacks support for more recent updates and apps.
