Realme 2 Performance and Software

Performance and Software

Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset, the Realme 2 is an octa-core device clocked at 1.8 GHz. The Adreno 506 GPU manages graphic-intensive tasks fairly well for an entry-level phone. While it was initially released with Android 8.1 (Oreo), it can be upgraded to Android 9.0 (Pie) combined with ColorOS 6, Realme's customized skin. The device comes in two variants: one with 32GB of storage and 3GB RAM, and another with 64GB of storage and 4GB RAM, both of which are expandable via a dedicated microSD slot. This setup is capable of handling day-to-day tasks efficiently, though some lag might be noticeable with more demanding applications.
