Under the hood, the Realme 8s 5G is powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 810 chip, a 6 nm-based processor that strikes a balance between performance and energy efficiency. The octa-core CPU is composed of two high-performance Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.4 GHz and six power-efficient Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0 GHz, delivering smooth multitasking capabilities. Coupled with the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, the phone handles graphic-rich applications and games reasonably well. Consumers have the option between two configurations with 6GB or 8GB of RAM, both accompanied by 128GB of internal UFS 2.1 storage, expandable via a dedicated microSD slot.
