Under the hood, the Realme V21 was to be driven by an Android 12 operating system, topped with Realme's own UI 3.0. This setup would provide a user-friendly interface enriched with Realme's personalized features. The smartphone's performance was supposed to be powered by an octa-core CPU clocked at 2.2 GHz, ensuring solid speed for most daily tasks and moderate multitasking. With anticipated internal storage options of 128GB, combined with RAM variants of 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB, the phone would cater to different usage needs, offering decent performance across the board. An expandable storage option via a microSDXC card slot further added to the device's appeal for media-heavy users.
