Features and Functionality
For its time, the Sagem MC 950 offered a decent set of features. It could store up to 250 contacts in its phonebook and keep a record of 20 short messages. While modern photography and multimedia are not part of its capabilities due to the absence of a camera, radio, or USB connectivity, the phone does come equipped with basic sound functions. Users could enjoy customizable alert types, including vibration and downloadable monophonic ringtones. However, it lacks a 3.5mm audio jack, making it impossible to use standard headphones.
Messaging on this device is limited to SMS, and it supports predictive text input, which was a cutting-edge feature at the time. Basic utilities such as a clock and alarm are included, as well as a couple of simple games to pass the time. Unfortunately, the lack of Java support limits the expansion of its game library.
