Network and Connectivity
The Sagem MW 3052 operates on GSM 2G networks, specifically on 900/1800 bands. This was typical for mobile phones in 2001, providing reliable voice communication. However, it does not support GPRS or EDGE, which limits its internet capability to basic WAP 1.1 browsing. Connectivity features are minimal, with no support for modern wireless technologies like Bluetooth, WLAN, or GPS. It does, however, include an infrared port, which allowed for wireless data transfer between compatible devices at the time.
