Audio on the MY V-85 comes without a loudspeaker, restricting listening options to either the earpiece or using downloadable polyphonic ringtones. The absence of a 3.5mm audio jack indicated a reliance on its proprietary solutions for any wired audio requirements. Connectivity options were primarily based on Bluetooth and infrared technology; the former allowed for wireless file transfers, while the latter was slowly becoming obsolete even back in 2005.
