Capable of operating on both GSM and UMTS networks, the my800X offered a maximum data speed of 384 kbps, which was adequate for the web browsing capabilities of the time. Bluetooth connectivity further extended its capability for wireless data exchange, though it lacked Wi-Fi and assisted positioning services such as GPS. The phone also featured USB 1.0 connectivity for file transfer, which though slow, provided basic functionality needed for syncing data with a computer.
