Display and Interface
With an alphanumeric display capable of showing 3 rows of 12 characters, the phone's screen is spartan by today's standards but was sufficient for basic text-based interaction. Fixed icons accompany the text, representing simple functions and notifications. The interface is navigated using physical buttons, giving a tactile feedback that many users appreciated before the advent of touchscreens.
