Connectivity and Features
In terms of connectivity, the Sunburst supports GSM 2G technology, which means no 3G or faster data speeds for internet browsing. It includes Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP for audio streaming and limited file transfer capabilities. Notably absent are Wi-Fi capability and FM radio, which may restrict wireless internet access and local radio listening. Positioning is limited to A-GPS with AT&T Navigator, offering rudimentary navigation services for users during its time.
The Sunburst is equipped with a few basic sensors, including an accelerometer, and supports messaging through SMS, MMS, and email with a WAP 2.0/xHTML, HTML browser for simple web access. Although limited, there is support for Java apps and games, offering a touch of personalization and entertainment.
