For its time, the Rugby III offers a basic yet functional visual experience through its 2.4-inch TFT display. This screen supports 256K colors, which was standard for feature phones of that era. With a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels, the display provides decent clarity for its primary purpose of calls and basic messaging. An added secondary external CSTN display simplifies notifications and alerts without requiring the user to flip open the phone.
