Samsung D550 Design and Build

Design and Build

With dimensions of 95 x 48 x 23 mm and a weight of 119 grams, the Samsung D550 was compact and reasonably portable for its time. Its design was interestingly complemented by a full QWERTY keyboard, which was a distinct choice aimed at enhancing user interaction, specifically for messaging and email functions. The device was constructed to accommodate a mini-SIM card, a standard for phones of that era. Despite its intended user-friendly design, the screen-to-body ratio was only 36.5%, showcasing the technology's limitation in maximizing display areas.
