Performance and Connectivity
Operated on GSM technology, the Samsung D830 supported 2G networks with frequencies of GSM 900, 1800, and 1900, and equipped with GPRS and EDGE capabilities, ensuring connectivity even in the absence of 3G or 4G networks. While it did not include WLAN connectivity, it did feature Bluetooth 1.2 with A2DP, allowing wireless audio streaming, which was relatively advanced for its time. The lack of GPS, radio, and a universal USB port were potential downsides, compensated somewhat by a proprietary connector that handled both charging and data transfer.
