Connectivity and Communication
As expected from a basic mobile device released in 2009, the E1070 supported GSM 2G bands but lacked modern connectivity options such as WLAN and Bluetooth. The phone did not have a radio or USB support, which could be seen as limitations for users looking for a multi-functional device. Nevertheless, for those whose primary need was making calls and sending messages, it was adequate. It includes a WAP 2.0/xHTML browser for basic internet browsing, which, though rudimentary, was a feature appreciated by users transitioning into the digital age.
