Design and Build
The Samsung E610, with its compact clamshell design, measures 85 x 49.5 x 19.8 mm and weighs approximately 84 grams. Its lightweight and slim profile make it easily portable and convenient for one-handed use. The phone features a durable build with a choice of three color variants: Black, Blue, and Red. This variety provided a personalized touch that appealed to individual tastes during an era when mobile phones were beginning to transcend their purely functional roots and become fashion statements.
The device employs a Mini-SIM and sports dual displays: the main internal TFT display boasting up to 256K colors with a resolution of 176 x 220 pixels, which was quite standard at the time for mid-range handsets. Additionally, an external TFT display of 65K colors (96 x 128 pixels) is included, offering quick information access such as caller ID and notifications without the need to open the phone.
