Connectivity and Features
In terms of connectivity, the Samsung E700 was basic. It supported GSM 900/1800 bands and GPRS Class 10 but lacked EDGE, Bluetooth, WLAN, and standard USB connectivity. It did, however, feature an infrared port, which was commonly used for data transfer at that time. The absence of a radio might have been a downside for some users, but the phone did support WAP 2.0/xHTML for basic internet browsing. Additionally, the phone featured basic messaging capabilities including SMS, EMS, and MMS, and it came preloaded with five games and supported Java applications, which was a good option for entertainment.
