The Samsung F490's display is a 3.3-inch TFT resistive touchscreen, offering a resolution of 240 x 432 pixels with a pixel density of approximately 150 ppi. While this may seem basic by today's standards, in 2008, having a touchscreen was still an attractive feature. However, the resistive technology meant that the touch response was less sensitive compared to the capacitive screens that would later dominate the market, requiring users to press more firmly for inputs.
