Under the hood, the Galaxy A2 Core is powered by the Exynos 7870 Octa chipset with an octa-core 1.6 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU and Mali-T830 MP1 GPU. This configuration, paired with 1GB of RAM, is modest and designed primarily for basic tasks. The device runs on Android 8.0 Oreo (Go edition), an optimized version of Android for entry-level phones that provides a smooth user experience despite the limited hardware. Apps open without too much delay, but multitasking is kept to a minimum to maintain performance stability.
