Powering the Samsung Galaxy A22 5G is the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset, built on a 7 nm process. The octa-core CPU includes two 2.2 GHz Cortex-A76 cores and six 2.0 GHz Cortex-A55 cores, ensuring a balanced performance suitable for general browsing, app usage, and multitasking. The Mali-G57 MC2 GPU supports basic gaming requirements effectively. Out of the box, it runs on Android 11 with Samsung's One UI Core 5, upgradable to Android 13, which enhances functionality while maintaining an intuitive user interface.
