Under the hood, the Galaxy A55 is powered by the Exynos 1480 chipset built on a 4nm architecture, with an octa-core processor setup combining powerful Cortex-A78 and efficient Cortex-A55 cores. This ensures a good balance of performance and power efficiency. The phone is available with several configurations ranging from 128GB storage with 6GB or 8GB of RAM to 256GB storage with 6GB, 8GB, or 12GB of RAM. Additionally, there is support for expandable storage through a microSDXC card, albeit at the cost of one SIM slot in the dual SIM setup.
