Performance
The Ace 3 ran on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and was powered by two different chipsets depending on the version: the Broadcom BCM21664 for the 3G variant with a dual-core 1.0 GHz Cortex-A9 CPU, and the more capable Qualcomm MSM8930 Snapdragon 400 in the LTE model with a dual-core 1.2 GHz Krait CPU. This difference resulted in notably better performance in the LTE version. The phone housed 1GB of RAM in both variants, offering sufficient multitasking for the kinds of applications prevalent at the time, though probably falling short under intensive usage. The inclusion of Broadcom VideoCore IV and Adreno 305 GPUs for the 3G and LTE models respectively, facilitated basic graphic processing for casual gaming and video playback.
