Under the hood, the device ran on an Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system, which was common among budget smartphones in 2013. Powered by a NovaThor U8420 chipset with a 1.0 GHz dual-core Cortex-A9 processor and Mali-400MP4 GPU, the Galaxy Exhibit was not built for heavy multitasking or high-end gaming. However, it handled basic tasks and applications with relative ease, which was aided by its 1GB of RAM.
