In terms of design, the Galaxy Express 2 featured a modest yet functional appearance. The dimensions, at 132.4 by 65.7 by 9.8 mm, and weighing 134.2 grams, made for a device that comfortably fit in hand without being overly bulky. Samsung's choice of materials aligned with their design ethos of the time, preferring sturdy plastic which added durability to the device. The use of a micro-SIM was standard for the period, and while the removable battery design may feel dated now, it allowed users the convenience of carrying spares or replacing batteries with ease.
