Hardware and Performance
The Galaxy J5 is powered by a Qualcomm MSM8916 Snapdragon 410 chipset, paired with a Quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU and an Adreno 306 GPU. While these specifications may not excite high-end users, they provide adequate performance for everyday tasks such as browsing, social media, and light gaming. The device initially offered two variants in terms of storage: 8GB and 16GB, both with 1.5GB of RAM. However, users could expand the internal storage up to 256GB via a dedicated microSDXC card slot, allowing for additional flexibility.
