Powered by the TI OMAP 4460 chipset, the device features a dual-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A9 CPU and PowerVR SGX540 GPU. Although these specifications are modest in the current tech landscape, they provided sufficient performance for everyday tasks at the time, such as web browsing and running multiple apps. Initially operating on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and upgradable to Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean), the Galaxy Nexus i515 offered newer Android features and optimization, including an improved user interface and better app management. However, users were limited to 32GB of internal storage as the phone lacked a card slot for memory expansion.
