Performance and Hardware
Under the hood, the Galaxy Note 3 packs potent hardware for its time. Depending on the model, it is powered by one of two chipsets: the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800, found in variants like the N9005 and N9002, and the Exynos 5420 Octa for the N9000. The Qualcomm version features a quad-core Krait 400 CPU running at 2.3 GHz, while the Exynos variant includes an octa-core setup with four high-performance Cortex-A15 cores and four power-efficient Cortex-A7 cores. Complementing this is 3GB of RAM, ensuring smooth multitasking capabilities.
The Adreno 330 GPU in the Snapdragon models delivers robust graphics performance, while the Mali-T628 MP6 in the Exynos variant keeps up with demanding visual tasks, making the Note 3 capable of handling high-definition gaming and video playback.
