Performance and Software
Under the hood, the Galaxy Note20 Ultra is powered by two different chipsets, depending on the market: the Exynos 990 for the global model and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ for the USA variant. Both are built on a 7nm+ architecture and deliver stellar performance for multitasking and gaming. The CPU configurations provide a blend of power and efficiency, handling demanding applications with ease. Graphics are managed by the Mali-G77 MP11 GPU in the global version and the Adreno 650 for the USA variant, both of which ensure smooth visuals for graphics-intensive tasks.
Running on Android 10 out of the box with Samsung's One UI 5, the phone is upgradable to Android 13. The UI is designed to enhance user experience with intuitive navigation and thoughtful features tailored to the expansive display. Samsung's DeX feature further extends the device's capabilities by providing a desktop-like experience when connected to a monitor, enhancing productivity.
