Powered by the Qualcomm APQ8084 Snapdragon 805 chipset, the device featured a quad-core 2.5 GHz Krait 450 processor and an Adreno 420 GPU. This combination offered robust performance, be it for multitasking, gaming, or handling demanding applications. The phone initially ran on Android 4.4.2 KitKat with Samsung's TouchWiz UI layered on top, providing a user-friendly interface and additional Samsung-specific features. Users had the option of either 16GB or 32GB of internal storage, complemented by 2GB of RAM, with the ability to expand storage through a microSDXC card slot.
