Under the hood, the Galaxy S6 Plus was equipped with Samsung's Exynos 7420 Octa chipset, built with a 14nm architecture, representing some of the best processing power available at the time. The Octa-core CPU (comprising four high-performance Cortex-A57 cores and four power-efficient Cortex-A53 cores) promised to deliver robust multitasking capabilities and efficient energy use. Complementing the hardware was the Android 5.0.2 Lollipop OS, layered with Samsung's proprietary TouchWiz UI, known for its customization and added features. The proposed internal storage registered at 32GB, paired with a substantial 4GB of RAM, reflecting the ample storage and performance capabilities expected from a flagship model. The use of UFS 2.0 technology promised faster read/write speeds, enhancing overall device responsiveness.
