Under the hood, the Galaxy S8+ varies by region, offering either the Exynos 8895 chipset (EMEA) or the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 (USA and China), both manufactured with a 10 nm process. These octa-core processors ensure smooth multitasking and fast processing. The phone's GPU, Mali-G71 MP20 for EMEA and Adreno 540 for USA and China, together with options for 4GB or 6GB of RAM, ensures lag-free gaming and a responsive user interface. At launch, the S8+ came with Android 7.0 (Nougat) but is upgradable to Android 9.0 (Pie) with Samsung's One UI, which provides a refined user interface and enhanced usability.
