Performance and Software
Under the hood, the Galaxy Tab 10.1 is powered by the Nvidia Tegra 2 T20 chipset, featuring a dual-core 1.0 GHz Cortex-A9 processor and a ULP GeForce GPU. The package supports basic multitasking and media playback, even though it may struggle with more demanding applications by today's standards. Originally shipped with Android 3.0 (Honeycomb), the tablet can be upgraded to Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) with Samsung's TouchWiz UX interface providing additional customization options. However, given the hardware limitations, users might experience performance lags with the latest updates.
