Performance and Software
Powered by a Marvell PXA986 chipset and a dual-core 1.2 GHz processor, the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite manages simple tasks with relative ease. Well-suited to activities like browsing the internet and running light apps, it struggles under the demands of heavier apps and multitasking owing to its 1GB RAM. The Vivante GC1000 GPU offers basic graphics performance, mostly sufficient only for standard definition video playback and low-intensity gaming.
Running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, the OS provides a straightforward and user-friendly interface. Yet, the outdated software limits access to newer applications and lacks features from more recent Android iterations, impacting the device’s relevance in the long run.
