Performance and Software
Under the hood, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is powered by a Quad-core 1.2 GHz processor. The Wi-Fi model comes with 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, whereas the LTE version is slightly upgraded with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. Running on Android 5.0 Lollipop, the interface is intuitive, though slightly dated by modern standards. The device handles basic tasks with ease but struggles with more intensive applications and multitasking, where limitations in RAM become apparent. For users with modest demands, such as browsing or media consumption, the performance is adequate.
