Performance
Under the hood, the Galaxy Tab A 8.4 is powered by an Exynos 7904 chipset, a modest performer equipped with an octa-core CPU (2x1.8 GHz Cortex-A73 & 6x1.6 GHz Cortex-A53) and a Mali-G71 MP2 GPU. Running Android 10 out of the box with an upgrade path to Android 11 and Samsung's One UI 3.1, the device handles everyday tasks well. With 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, it provides adequate multitasking capabilities and storage space for essential apps, although users will likely need to leverage the microSDXC card slot for additional storage.
