Performance
Under the hood, the Galaxy Tab Pro is powered by the Exynos 5420 Octa chipset. This includes an octa-core processor configuration with four high-performance Cortex-A15 cores clocked at 1.9 GHz, and four energy-efficient Cortex-A7 cores at 1.3 GHz, leveraging ARM's big.LITTLE architecture for a balance of performance and battery life. Accompanied by Mali-T628 MP6 graphics, the tablet handles most tasks with relative ease, though high-end gaming and intensive multitasking may push it to its limits.
Running on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI, the performance is smooth for most productivity applications and media consumption tasks. The presence of 3GB RAM enhances its multitasking capabilities, and the internal storage options of 32GB or 64GB, expandable via a dedicated microSDXC slot, provide ample room for apps and data.
