Under the hood, the Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 LTE houses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset with a quad-core 2.3 GHz Krait 400 CPU and an Adreno 330 GPU. This configuration offered efficient performance for multitasking and running demanding applications at the time of its release. Paired with 3GB of RAM, it provided a smooth user experience, although it's worth noting that performance expectations have evolved significantly since 2014.
Running on Android 4.4 KitKat with Samsung's TouchWiz UI layered on top, the software experience aimed to deliver a user-friendly interface with enhancements tailored for larger screens.
