Display
Featuring a 4.0-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, the Nexus S delivered vibrant colors and decent pixel density at 233 ppi. While it pales in comparison to today's high-definition screens, the AMOLED technology provided deep blacks and vivid colors, making it a standout feature at its release. Though the screen-to-body ratio was modest at 58.3%, the oleophobic coating helped keep smudges and fingerprints at bay, enhancing the touchscreen experience.
